Hello everyone!
Today I have to talk about stress and work, so I think that this is a very interesting topic, because nowadays it is one of the most common problems in our society. There are a lot of things that today can take you to the stress. We know that Chile is one of the countries with more hours of work in the world, so we are more tired because of that, also a lot of people are studying or doing some advanced courses so they have a double job. Women are very stressed because they have even a triple job, including work, the house, kids and so on.
So all this conditions of our society can take us to stress, but how can we know when we are stressed? There are some symptom and sings that we can recognize:
- Headache
- Stomachache, gastric ulcers
- Nauseas, vomiting
- Tachycardia
- Nervous habits
- Problems to sleep
And so on.
Stress can brings you a lot of problems with you family, friend, with your job partners and every place where you are. Stress can damages you in everything you do, in all your activities, you could have problems in you job because you are not in good conditions and if you are student it could damages your performance and your grades. As you see it is not only a problem with you body and health, but it also means a problem with the people that shares with you and in your performance in everything you do.

blog 3: A healthy lifestyle
Hello everybody!
Today I’m going to tell you through the blog about a healthy lifestyle. First of all I would like to say that this is a topic very important because nowadays there are a lot of diseases related with an unhealthy lifestyle. In these days I think that is harder to have a healthy lifestyle, with all the technology that we have, now everything is easier and handier than before. Things are designed to be fast and disposable, for example, people don’t cook anymore, they buy fast food. People don’t go up the stairways, they use the elevator.
All these advances have done of us lazy people with an unhealthy lifestyle. So ¿What is a healthy lifestyle? Well, it consists in feed with a balanced diet, eating food of all the food groups but with different proportions, following the food pyramid. Also it consists in to do exercise at least 3 times at the week. It seems very easy, but we know that around 90% of the population is sedentary and almost the 50% are overweight and obese.
Like future health professional we have to educate the community in healthy lifestyles mainly people with a low social class, because in these people sedentary and obesity are increased. Furthermore healthy lifestyle means all the actions that help us to have a healthy life, for example and from the point of view of my career, to use condom is very important to prevent some sexual transmission infections. So a healthy lifestyle covers everything related with a healthy life, not only food and exercises.
