Hello everyone!
In this opportunity I’m going to talk about my ideal job. In blog 5, I told you about all the places where I want to work, but today I’m going to tell you about only two of them, because they are the most that I like.
I would like to work in the public system in a “consultorio”, because I think that in this place I can help to the women to know and understand what happen with their bodies; I think this is a very good place to educate to the people. Besides I like a lot the gynecological and sexuality area, and in this place I can do both.
The other place where I want to work is in my own “birth’s house”, as I told you in blog 5 this is one of my projects. Here I want to receive the healthy pregnant women and help them assisting labor and birth. My ideal would be to check all the process of pregnancy and then to assist them in my birth’s house. In this place the environment will be very peaceful, and the service will be like teachers have taught us, with support, comprehension and everything that women need and deserve.

Hello everybody!
Today I will tell you about my experience this past Tuesday in the concert of one of my favorite bands of music called “Lacuna Coil”.
I knew that they will come to Chile the past Saturday, my sister call me to tell me, we didn’t know that they will come to Chile, we never saw any publicity about it, she knew because her friend told her. In that moment I thought that I had to go. I passed all the weekend thinking about the concert and that I haven’t enough many to go, but finally I decided to go. I bought the ticket the past Monday in the mall, so the Tuesday I came to university and after English class I stayed a while studying waiting for the hour to go. I met with my sister at 7 o’clock at Santa Ana subway station, and then we walk until “teatro Teletón”. After waiting around 2 hours Lacuna Coil went up to the stage. In that moment the show started, it was amazing; the sound was very good and powerful, just the way I like. When Cristina (the vocalist) started to sing, it was wonderful, she really sings spectacular, she has a great voice. However I felt the concert was too short, although it wasn’t. The final song called “our truth” was the best; I sang it with my heart, because I like it a lot. Then they said good bye to all of us and left the stage. I didn’t want to go, but it was finished, finally I went to my house.

Hello everyone!
In this opportunity I am going to talk about education and prevention in my career, midwifery. Like future midwives, we must to know that education will be very important in our future job, because we have to teach to the people about their health, although we are not teachers. This topic is something that has a lot of importance and belongs to a new way to understand the job of the heath’s professionals. Like teachers have told us, we have to educate to the community and give them the tools to they can manage their own health, this is reason because now we don’t call them patients but users. Patient refers to a passive person that receives instructions and then makes them, and users refers to a person that receives our services, but is able to takes decisions and participates in his health.
About prevention, this is something very important too, because we have to inform to the people the different ways to prevent some diseases and promote healthy lifestyles. They deserve to know about their bodies, their habits and their health, and is our task to teach them. We have to give this service to all our users, but we have to emphasize in low social class people, because they need more support due to their lack of opportunities and education.

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to talk about gender role in health care.
Fist of all I’m going to talk about de differences of gender in my career. Midwifery always had been done by women, but now is more common find men studying this profession. Sometimes they are discriminated by the people, because people think that this career is for women and men that study it are gay. However, now they are more accepted. This is very similar with nursery, because in that career is common to find women studying, but now more men study nursery. I don’t know if there are differences in the salary between women and men, I think that this should be the same.
Women and men can study the same professions, because they have the same abilities and capacities to do the designed tasks. Nowadays everybody know that, this is the reason because the careers are accepting students without considering the gender. The professional development consequently is the same as much women as men, both receive the same tools to give the quality service that our country deserve. Therefore both have to have the same responsibilities and salaries. The kind of patients or users should be the same too, but depending on what everyone likes. If you ask me, I would like to work with low social class people.
